Product Overview

JINYE coil slitting lines slit wide metal coils into multiple narrow strips as a downstream finishing option for coil processing line projects. They are suitable for stainless steel, silicon steel, carbon steel, galvanized steel, copper and aluminum strip, and precision decorative materials.

Line configuration focuses on slitter arbor accuracy, knife clearance, burr control, camber, recoiling tightness, strip separation, scrap handling, unloading, safety protection, and changeover efficiency.

Parameter Classification

Light-gauge high-speed slitting lineHigh-efficiency thin strip slitting for stainless steel, silicon steel, copper, and aluminum precision strip. Width 350-1250 mm; thickness 0.03-1.0 mm; speed 150-400 m/min.
Standard steel coil slitting lineGeneral steel coil slitting for carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and silicon steel in common service-center widths. Width 650-1600 mm; thickness 0.2-3.0 mm; speed 80-220 m/min.
Heavy-gauge slitting lineRigid slitting configuration for heavier coil and thicker material where shear force and recoiling torque dominate. Width 850-1780 mm; thickness 1.0-6.0 mm; speed 20-120 m/min.
Narrow precision slitting linePrecision slitting for narrow strip, multiple small-width strips, electronics material, coated strip, and decorative material. Width 350-850 mm; thickness 0.02-1.5 mm; speed 100-300 m/min.

Selection Logic

Slitting configuration is selected after the main cold rolling line route is clear. Thin strip projects emphasize burr control, side camber, strip separation, and recoiling face quality; heavy-gauge projects emphasize machine rigidity, knife clearance, scrap stability, safety protection, and recoiling torque.

Typical Applications

  • Steel coil slitting for stainless steel, silicon steel, carbon steel, and galvanized steel.
  • High-efficiency slitting for copper, aluminum, precision narrow strip, and decorative materials.
  • Steel service centers, rolling mill finishing sections, and order structures with frequent size changes.

Project Data Needed

Coil slitting line selection should confirm maximum coil weight, coil inner and outer diameter, maximum strip count, minimum slit width, knife specification, burr tolerance, recoiling method, scrap handling, safety protection, and knife changeover requirements.
